GET TO KNOW ADAM HAROUN

Always seeking to bring innovation and the latest best practices to his roster of private clients, Aesthetic Altitude™ was born from the clear gap Adam saw in the aesthetic industry: up-to-the-minute, marketing knowledge that breaks away from “more of the same” that surgeons and injectors typically find on the conference circuit and among so-called ‘marketing experts’.

THE VISION BEHIND AESTHETIC ALTITUDE™

“At our agency, we built a reputation executing strategies and campaigns that nobody else in the industry is even talking about yet – and our clients see the results. In my industry partnerships, I was able to share these first-of-their-kind insights with select audiences. I looked around and saw that there was a wider need (and massive gap) for creative thinking, and these elevated conversations. An affordable, accessible resource that wasn’t behind a velvet rope. I hate gatekeeping! I sought out to create a platform where aesthetic practice can rise to premium status…whether or not they were one of my private agency clients. A little ingenuity, a lot of brainstorming – and just like that, Aesthetic Altitude was brought to life.”, he explains.
A labor of love, Adam carefully studied and analyzed the most successful campaigns his private clients were executing, and documented each in meticulous detail. In doing so, a proven framework built around showcasing a practice’s unique strengths and most profitable procedurees to the premium aesthetic consumer was born. The Aesthetic Altitude™ process.

A GLOBALLY RECOGNIZED AESTHETIC MARKETING INNOVATOR

Aside from his programs and events for Aesthetic Altitude™, Adam maintains close ties and works “in the trenches” with his intimate roster of private marketing clients and is among the industry’s most in-demand marketing experts and lecturers.
Known for his effervescent presence and energetic presentations, Adam can be found as faculty and an industry speaker for Allergan Aesthetics, Merz Aesthetics, Hydrafacial, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the AMWC Conference in Monaco, BTL, the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, Prollenium Medical Technologies, Neauvia North America, and at the Global Aesthetics Conference.
Private engagements regularly bring Adam to Europe, the Middle East, across the United States and his home of Canada. As Adam says, “if someone gives me a soapbox – I’ll gladly hop onto it! If that soapbox involves a passport stamp and immersing myself in another culture, even better!”

AN UNEXPECTED LOVE AFFAIR – ENTERING THE AESTHETIC INDUSTRY

Adam established his creative agency, BrandingMD, to remedy the ‘disconnect’ he first came to notice when seeking out his own treatments – that many exceptional practices rely on advertising that is both uninspired, and virtually identical to competitors [The Process]
“My foray into aesthetic marketing began as a patient. When I was seeking out my own treatment – something to get rid my stubborn under-eye circles – I saw how paltry the marketing of practices was. All digital tactics, no strategic positioning or strategy. I was blown away…and not in a good way. I saw the opportunity, and loved the industry. I spent almost 2 years studying everything about this industry I could – attending every conference, secret shopping, connecting with industry professionals and becoming a “sponge” to learn the nuances and best practices of this industry. From there, I secured by first aesthetic practice client in 2014 – and so the journey began!”, he shares.
Delighted clients sparked a rapid buzz and referrals – and the agency grew. In late 2015, Adam wound down his client roster and book of business, and turned his attention exclusively to medical aesthetics. To this day, BrandingMD maintains an enviable reputation as the quietly-whispered name that surgeons and injectors turn to when seeking the industry’s most exclusive and innovate campaigns. Along the way, industry partnerships, conferences and associations came knocking – seeking to share Adam’s unique insights with their own audiences.

ADAM’S BUSINESS BEGINNINGS

A lifelong entrepreneur, Adam found his business beginnings in his dorm room while studying marketing in Montreal Canada – with a freelance operation he operated before classes and between assignments. From there, that operation grew rapidly – earning Adam the title of Student Entrepreneur of the Year and national media coverage in the early 2010s.
Following his studies, Adam continued to attend marketing seminars, surrounded himself with peer groups of the world’s leading digital and brand marketers, and grow his client roster. His love of luxury marketing was found in the client base of his first agency – where he orchestrated the brand launches of numerous private equity firms, high-net-worth asset managers, custom home builders, boutique fitness studios, hair and beauty salons and emerging fashion designers – to name but a few of his early clients.
Adam shares, “From the earliest days of my career, I was helping my clients market exclusive products and services – and in each industry I encountered, I very quickly saw that what worked for marketing to the masses did not work for marketing to the premium consumer. I was earning my marketing stripes in the world of luxury brand marketing, and shaping my own marketing approach every step of the way. Little did I know where that journey would take me!”

THE MAN BEHIND THE MARKETER

As anyone who has met him will tell you, Adam is not one to be easily forgotten! On an average weekend (or while sipping a pre-departure martini at the Admirals Club) you can find Adam seeking out a new dessert recipe, planning out his next vacation (as a self-proclaimed ‘travel snob’), indulging in some 2000s nostalgia, perusing Saks Fifth Avenue for a new aubergine wardrobe staple – his signature color – or recharging over brunch and a day at the spa. No matter where you find him, one thing is for sure – Adam has his next creative idea already on the go!
